This 2 hour – Continuing Medical Education session hosted by Stratford EMS Training & Education Center will cover the removal of commonly worn jewelry during traumatic events. Different removal equipment and techniques.

Objectives:

    1. Providers will have knowledge of anatomy
    2. Providers will understand common jewelry entrapments and associated injury
    3. Providers will be familiar with simple and complex tools for removal of jewelry with practical application
