Cost: This course is being offered at no cost to the student

Description: This two (2) hour, LocalCore Curriculum CME will cover basic “awareness” level concepts of Hazardous Materials for the emergency medical services provider.  The course will cover the ERG and the following:

1.  The student will be able to properly Identify a hazardous material by Name, UN number or Class
2. The student will be able to understand the risks and responsibilities of operating in a cold zone at a hazardous material or other special incident
3. The student will be able to Identify the different classes of Hazardous Materials
4. The Student will have an understanding of the role of the first responder awareness individual

Intended Audience: EMS Providers All Levels
