Description: In this installment of the HAZ-Medic Series, we will discuss Hydrogen Fluoride and how HF is used, how exposure’s most commonly occur, and how to treat those exposures.
Our course objectives are:
1. Students will be able to identify the difference between hydrogen Fluoride and Hydrofluoric Acid
2. Students will be able to identify the signs and symptoms of HF exposure
3. Students will be able to appropriately treat HF exposure at the BLS and ALS levels
4. Students will be able to protect themselves from HF exposure.
