Lecturer: Alex Voldman, DO

Dr. Voldman is a Board Certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with advanced training in cataract and corneal surgery, specializing in laser assisted (Femtosecond) cataract surgery and advanced technology intraocular lens implants (IOLs). Dr.Voldman completed a fellowship in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. The infirmary is one of the country’s oldest and most renowned eye hospitals. During his medical training, Dr. Voldman was an EMT-CC (Critical Care) for the Hewlett Fire Department for over 7 years and is passionate about education and EMS training.

Description:  This continuing medical education training session will cover the different variety of eye injuries and how to manage them in emergency medical services.

Audience: All levels of EMS and First responder
