The Stratford Volunteer EMS Association (SVEMSA) is hosting an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Initial Training Course starting in January 2017. This course includes training in CPR, bleeding control, patient assessment, safe lifting & moving and many more important topics. Successful completion of this course will allow the student to test for national certification. Upon completion, EMT’s may staff ambulances, work in hospitals and will know what to do during a medical emergency.
Cost for the course is $900.00 and includes: all textbooks with interactive online access, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, pen light and medical scissors.
