Description: This 2.0 hour continuing medical education opportunity presented by Hartford Healthcare: St. Vincent’s Medical Center will cover:
- Review common cardiac medications that often lead to overdose
- Review of cardiac physiology
- Discuss how sodium, calcium and beta blockers work
- Describe different patient presentation and patient management considerations as it related to EMS response and our interface with the hospital.
Intended Audience: All pre-hospital care providers
