Description: This two (2) hour, instructor-lead, continuing education course orientates the field provider to Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome
- The Provider will understand the pathophysiology behind alcohol withdrawal syndrome
- The provider will be able to describe the signs, symptoms and treatments for alcohol withdrawal syndrome
- The Provider will be able to recognize that an intoxicated patient may be suffering from a more serious medical emergency
