Description: This 3.0 hour Continuing Medical Education session hosted by Stratford EMS will cover Advanced 12-Lead Review. This review satisfies medical control renewal requirements for paramedics. Approved National Core Content. This course will be a full 12-lead course, over several dates (but students can also attend a single date), taking you from minimal 12-lead knowledge to reading advanced EKG strips like a master.
- A review of lead placement and the arteries involved and walls in an acute MI
- Axis deviations and fascicular blocks, and bundle branch blocks.
- STEMI patterns and STEMI imposters and mimics
- Long QT syndrome and electrolyte imbalances and the EKG
Intended Audience: SHCGB Paramedics, CT Paramedics, BLS is welcome
This course is a full 12-Lead course offer over 3 dates: 7/8, 7/15 & 7/29.
